UPPAbaby VISTA Travel System – Review

The UPPAbaby VISTA is a fantastic pram for first-time parents. Practical, stylish and light are just a few of the reasons why I love it!

I absolutely love the UPPAbaby VISTA!

As a first time mum I wanted a pram that was easy to set up, light and stylish and the VISTA ticks all these boxes. I’m not the strongest of people, my bicep is about the size of a marble, and of all of the prams I tried this was by far the lightest. With the frame only weighing 8.8kg I can get it in and out of the boot easily without pulling a muscle or breaking a sweat!

The included carrycot is perfect for naps on the go. In fact putting Jack in the carrycot is the only way I can get him to sleep during the day! It has a one button release so if your little one is sleeping you can move them without disturbance. What’s more, it’s suitable for overnight sleeping thanks to its vented base and mattress so you don’t have to worry about taking a separate travel cot if you’re going away.

The carrycot also features an extendable, UPF 50+ drop-down sunshade and bug shield, so on a summer’s day your little one is protected and won’t be blinded by the sun.

The VISTA is also incredible sturdy. We live on the coast in Bournemouth, Dorset and the pram fares extremely well on sandy paths and also the forest, with great control and suspension. It’s also very good at navigating tight corners! My only issue is that with the carrycot attached the travel system is quite wide and I have found it a bit tricky in supermarkets and shops with narrow aisles.

The VISTA is incredibly sturdy and perfect for my beach walks with Jack and Dusty!

One of the big bonuses of the VISTA is its basket. It’s huge! The large opening means you can easily fit a changing bag, rain cover, shopping and anything else you pick up along the way and can access it without having to remove the carrycot. The carrycot is also nice and high up so you can easily see your baby and lean in and soothe them if needed.

The seat unit is also great, featuring a one-handed multi-position recline so your child can lie comfortably for naps or sit upright to take in their surroundings and also has a UPF 50+ sunshade. Jack loves to be able to see where he is going in the upright position and then when it’s time for a nap I just recline the chair so he can catch some z’s!

My husband also liked this pram because it can accommodate a second and even third child. This isn’t on my radar just yet though… I’m only just getting used to one!

To summarise this VISTA is well worth the money and ideal for first time parents who like to get out and about. The main positives for me are its lightness, big basket and the fact it looks good too!

My rating, an easy 5/5 stars!
